Art doesn’t follow a single path. Neither do we.

Akopelli Art Forms grew from something simple: working with people we believe in to help bring original ideas to life. We stay close to the work and the people behind it—from development and production to publishing, representation and finding the right doors to knock on. Because breaking through in music, film and art is hard, and good work deserves people willing to stand behind it.

How Art Takes Form

    We work closely with artists and creators to understand what they’re trying to make, develop the idea, and strengthen the vision without losing what made it original in the first place.

    No two artists, songs or creative ideas follow the same path. We look at what each one needs, where it can go, and the people and opportunities that make sense along the way.

  3. Create Together

    The right collaboration can change what’s possible. We bring together artists, musicians, producers, filmmakers and other creatives who understand the vision and have something meaningful to bring to it.

  4. Protect Your Work

    We take the business behind creative work seriously—publishing, ownership, rights and agreements—so the people who create it are properly represented and what they’ve built is protected.

  5. Make the Connection

    We represent the artists and work we believe in, connecting songs, catalogs and creative projects with artists, producers, publishers, managers, A&R and others who can help give them the right opportunity.

Cory Hoopes

Songwriter

Cory Hoopes has spent decades writing poetry and developing his voice as a storyteller. Now, he’s bringing those stories to life through songwriting.

Working with Akopelli Art Forms, Cory partnered with producer Sean Giovanni at The Record Shop in Nashville to develop his catalog into professionally produced demo masters. With those recordings complete, Akopelli is actively pitching and representing his songs to artists, managers, publishers and industry professionals, while helping protect his creative work.

Akopelli Art Forms was founded by Colby Hoopes around a simple idea: meaningful creative work deserves more than a place to exist. It needs people willing to believe in it, help shape it, protect it and find the right opportunities for it to be seen and heard.

Built from firsthand experience creating alongside artists, musicians and filmmakers, Akopelli stays intentionally close to both the creative process and the people behind it. That can mean developing an idea, bringing the right collaborators together, producing, publishing, representing a catalog or simply finding the next connection that makes sense.

We’re building Akopelli independently, one relationship and one piece of work at a time—with big ambitions for where those relationships can lead.
